Listening to the fine streaming broadcast of Russ and Rob on Saturday, I heard several promos for NFL Thursday Night Football featuring Khalil Mack vs. Kareem Hunt -- two stars from the MAC. That got me thinking about other MAC football stars over the past decade or so -- Big Ben, Jason Taylor, Antonio Brown, Antonio Gates, Josh Cribbs, even the #1 pick Eric Fisher.

While Mike Mitchell has been solid and Dave Zastudil was a great punter, it's too bad we've not had a star NFL player from Ohio University we can claim.

Gotta say that Vince Costello is as good as some of those you mentioned. He was a linebacker with 22 career picks. Not too shabby. Just not recent.
