That suplex to stop forward progress on fourth down was nasty.

I got the impression that Bahl was not too happy with Moore taking the Redhawk receiver to Suplex City.

Normally that is a 15 yarder for unnecessary roughness. That is definitely a nice tone setter.

Thing is, he had to make the play that way to keep the guy from getting the first down. Very impressive. Defense was very physical in second half.

Yes, therefore, no penalty. It was "necessary roughness" to prevent the first down.

1. I've enjoyed our match-ups vs. M#$%i over the last few years because they've been physical football games for both teams. They're really stepped it up in that regard and it's clear to me that their conditioning program has greatly improved. They try to match our physicality. Right now, we're just better.

2. I love Chad Moore's effort and execution. He gets almost all he can out of his gas tank. I say almost because he seems like the kind of player who thinks he can do more to help the team and get better even when he is playing at a very high level. Respect. Also, he always -- always -- comes over to the Phillips Club pre-game and post-game to visit with his parents. That's not what everyone can do or what would work for them, but it's his way.
