Good. I notice that the Colts picked up former Ohio State linebacker Joshua Perry off waivers, and just activated him this week, giving Indianapolis three players that spot, Sheard, Basham, and Perry.

He just got a sack and dance. He also got a pressure today. Let’s see if they can close the door on the Bungals.

He's just a rookie, give him a chance.

Well, it's a bad sign when they acquire another player for his position, and then activate him. I think it was a great time for him to have a good game, which should protect his position at #2 on the depth chart.

You are right LC, Basham’s contract is not guaranteed. He was drafted to put pressure on the QB, if he cannot do that, the Colts will move on. Basham got some reps and showed some things. He kept the edge, he put pressure on the QB and his overall pursuit was great. He dropped into coverage, when dropping into coverage on tight end, he should jam the TE. When in zone, he should chip and jam those who come in his zone within five yards of the line of scrimmage. If will make some QB’s move to the next read. Overall, Basham looked good, we will see what his coaches have to say during the week. His celebration after the sack was a little excessive, Cinci, score went on to score on a pick 6 two plays later, which turned out to be the game winner.

He looked way faster coming off the edge yesterday. Still developing Colts wont cut ties anytime soon.
