Most of those have been coverage sacks, or missed blitzes. My guess is that it's a combination of receivers not getting separation fast enough with Rourke taking too long to get through his reads. The more Rourke plays, the more he becomes familiar with the offense, and with the receivers, and the faster he will get with those reads.

There is still plenty of room for improvement, but one area where they are doing great is that the offensive line is wearing down opponents, and the run game has been getting more and more effective later and later in games.

Obviously it goes back to the coaching change back in 2014. After the excellent offensive lines of 2011-12 had numerous injuries in 2012, by the end of the year, the cupboard was bare. The line in 2013 was not good, and really hurt the 2013 team (though some here blamed the problems on TT). When Johnson arrived in 2014, what he had to work with was not good, and he had to recruit new players, and coach the players he had up.

It hasn't been perfect, and he's recruited his fair share of players who haven't contributed, but he seems to keep getting better, and seeing two true Freshmen playing this year, with one starting and doing very well, I see the future as very bright.
