About a third of the communities in the area don't have ToT on Halloween night. Some start as early as tonight. So I guess the importance of Halloween night depends on where you live, and maybe has declined over the years.

What irks me is that I couldn't make Saturday games because of my son's JV games. Now that they've wrapped up the JV season, we don't have any more Saturday games.

I'm in the house plus one, looking like a great night to "tailgate" at Jackie O's with a large Neanderthal and some local craft.

If you want to sit near the end of the M%^&i bench on the scoreboard side, let me know. I'm hoping Deciduous Forest Cat joins me there -- he has strong commentary game.

Since DNA testing showed that I'm 2.9 percent Neanderthal (above the European average 2.7 percent), I've become very sensitive to speciesism, and the negative use of the otther "N" word.  wink  And, exactly who is it that your are calling a Neanderthal? cool

Meanwhile, Miami thinks it invented the "Storm Trooper" look.

Sitting here on a chilly Sunday Morning in Cincinnati feeling the importance of this game! Last 4 Games are all important and not one is a walk.

In-conference stats look tight but each of us have a few differences for some of the "not so popular" stats such as Pass D Efficiency, Opponent 1st Downs, Penalties, Penalties Against, Time of Possession, Red Zone D and Red Zone O.

C'mon Bobcats!

PS - Fiami Sucks!

Win the next three and the Buffalo game becomes irrelevant. It all starts with Fiami. Go Cats!!!

My guess is that Miami, and everyone else Ohio plays for the rest of the year, will jam the box, trying to stop Ohio's run. If Ohio can rack up big numbers running the ball, Ohio is going to win, so other teams will have to commit to stopping the run, and that means playing 7-8 players in the box.

Then the key will be, can Rourke get back to the kind of passing numbers he hit early in the year? If so, that will force Miami, and other teams, to be defend the whole field. I think that Ohio's receivers will be healthier after this longer time between games, and we'll see less drops, which will get Ohio back to the high third down efficiency that they had early in the season. If the passing game isn't there, that will mean more need to run the option to spread Miami out.

Another question I have is, can Ohio continue to punch the ball into the endzone on trips to the Red zone? Ohio leads the league by far in points/red zone trip, while Miami is second to NIU in allowing fewest points/red zone trip. I expect Miami's defense to get some stops, so Zervos will need to be on target, as usual.

High percentage completions with the receivers in slot and big gainers after the catch.

Would it be wrong for me to choose the Crew playoff game over the Ohio-Miami football game tomorrow night? Don't hold back. I can take it.

Was reading "betting line" in the paper this morning and saw the point spread and over/under for the game is "OFF".
Anyone know why ?

I have been wondering the same thing myself. All the online sites show the game as off also. Didn't notice if there were any other games listed the same way or not.

I have a certification test the next morning at 9 so I can't come. At least you get the Crew (might be your last chance to see them)

Maybe the uncertainty of Ragland playing?

I was going to say the same thing-The Crew may very well be the Austin ___________ the next time they take the field. See them when you can as they likely are going the way of the Hartford Whalers and Houston Oilers.

Ohio vs. Miami is much more certain in the future!

Miami having a "storm trooper" uniform for the game? Does that mean they will have terrible aim and we wiped out in large numbers with minimum effort by the good guys?

So they are dressing like Stormtroopers, and we are dressing like Darth Vader.

I don't think it looks too good for Fiami.

Shouldn't we be dressed as Luke Skywalker and the Rebel Alliance?
