With the win over Miami on Tuesday, Frank now has 95 wins as the head coach at Ohio. I did a little digging and, amazingly, 95 is also the exact same number of wins from Coach Kappes's first win in 1978 to Coach Knorr's last win in 2004. So, since Coach Hess left the program at the end of the 1977 season, we have 190 wins; 95 of which belong to Frank and the other 95 shared between Kappes, Burke, Bryant, Lichtenberg, Grobe, and Knorr. Frank needed 12.5 seasons and 164 games to get there while the other coaches named needed 27 seasons and 300 games (including 6 ties) to arrive at the same number of wins. While the one constant is that we haven't won a MACC in that time, we truly are in the golden age of Ohio Football, an age we should all feel fortunate about. I look back to my 4 years on campus (88-92), a span where we won 8 games, 3 of them against Tennessee Tech and 1 against Youngstown State before they figured out they could dominate with all that North East Ohio talent there for the taking. We should all feel pride in the direction this program has taken since Frank came aboard.

I'm with you! And we will have AT LEAST one MACC by the end of 2019.

When I first looked at this thread I thought you were talking about Frank's age. Still winning pushup contests at age 95. It hasn't been all at once but since he's been in Athens the football program has seen a lot of facility upgrades. There are the improvements in the tower that fans don't see on a regular basis (team meeting rooms, locker rooms, hydro pool) improved since he's been the coach. I can remember a journalist at a MAC Day a few years back who said it best; Before Solich Ohio was thought of a as a smaller program but he is running a major college program down in Athens.

I plead guilty of the same thing. I thought it was going to be about Frank still coaching 25+ years from now.

I have said many times that 2016-19 is going to be a time when the teams just keep getting better, and that these are going to be Frank's best teams yet. I'm right with you.

Thought the same thing too! Just rubbing it in the face of our BA members.

That said, I would be down for a Bobcat Attack Olympics, Court Street version. Drinking events and eating events up and down Court Street, whether we judge the different beers offered, the pizzas at each place. I feel like this could be a great Olympic event for all of Bobcat Attack to attend
