Does anyone honestly disagree with Monroe at this point?

As obnoxious as Monroe was, he (presumably) had a pretty genuine point. One that is clearly echoing throughout this board right now probably more than ever. The loyalty to Albin and Burrow is evident. This team was on top of the conference looking down at everyone and the only thing that could have stopped them...themselves, and they did it on national TV to a team that had no business beating them. The Cats were outplayed throughout the entire game. With 175 yards in penalties, the Zips still found a way to win.

I guess what I’m asking is, is it time we revisit the speculation of going in a different direction with the coaching staff? Albin couldn’t have called the last drive any worse. Burrow’s defense has looked elementary at time throughout the season, and Frank’s conservative approach led to a fg on the 1, which could have been the deciding factor in the game tonight.

Frank’s time is up.

Drain the swamp.

But don’t make Frank look like the main problem. Having the same coaching staff for 10+ years is okay...unless they’re average.

Frank hopefully brought Ohio to a point where a decent young staff can be obtained.

Or a somewhat recently fired/ retired coach and staff.

Mike Riley will be available and he will be cheap and in his 60s. He fits perfectly (enter sarcastic laugh).

Frank needs to go if he is not willing to bring in new coordinators. Akron and BGSU will come back to life soon. We will hate life when 8-3 turns into 3-8. He is way too loyal. He knows the game. I just listened to his after game press conference. When will he drain the swamp?

We'll probably win next week and suffer the annual bowl loss. Still, no one is firing Solich after a 9-3 regular season. Even though I'm frustrated, I wouldn't pull that trigger.

Is it time that Frank pulls the trigger is the real question.

Frank is 8-3, sitting at 96 career wins. In another year he goes 5-7 I think he's done. That would give him 14 years at Ohio, 20 overall as a FBS coach which I've predicted is about as far as he'd coach. Going into 2019 Sook will be done so a perfect time to bring in a new staff.
