Like many, I too was upset with the loss at Buffalo.
After further review I discovered there was a reason that we were not at our best.
INJURIES
Think about this fact; Our 2 best running backs were out as was out best wide receiver. We also lost one of these RB's and the best WR for Akron as well.
Also, as the season went on I started to notice injuries were mounting that caused more players to loose time.
So all in all I believe the boys that filled in did well in a losing effort.

GO BOBCATS REGROUP AND WIN THE BOWL GAME

Akron sure looked okay with a backup QB, missing starting RB and the loss of two defensive starters thru ejection.

Stop making excuses.

Not disagreeing (with 71bobcat), but . . .

When Cope is out, most on here state that Ohio is missing its best wide receiver.

When Papi White missed consecutive games earlier in the year, most on here stated that Ohio was missing its best wide receiver.

And some on here stated that Ohio lost its best returning wide receiver before the season started when Ball went down.

. . . which is it?

It's whatever fits the narrative to somehow defend these ridiculous losses every year
