George Belu, who played 3 seasons at Ohio, including the 1960 small college championship season, has been named the recipient of the American Football Coaches Association outstanding achievement award.The award is for a long-time assistant coach who was part of successful coaching staffs. Belu is 78 and has been on the staff at several colleges over his 45-year career.
