Who thought we’d be saying that after the Akron and Buffalo debacles?! OHIO remains the only MAC team to win a bowl game the last 2 years.

The rest of the games the MAC teams lost weren’t even close. Pathetic showing by the MAC.
True, but let's not forget, Ohio played the weakest opponent of all the MAC teams in bowl games. Don't let UAB's 8-4 record fool you, they were whipped by a Ball State team that went winless in the MAC.
I'd have to say with Rourke returning for next year and winning our bowl game 41-6 it makes us MAC favorites once again. UAB's inexperience in this bowl will be forgotten and it will go down as a nice win for us. Think about the banner hanging in Peden next year "Bahamas Bowl Champions".
Would you say we're wearing an eyepatch?

UAB made the Bowl - A strong accomplishment for a team almost run out of business by Alabama. I do not care to date teams. I say through a UVA- Navy game that was a UVA lean by some. UVA got crushed! OHIO won and I am delighted. One year, maybe next year, OU can win all the games that it is expected to win and win one's they are not expected to win. Maybe we can win the Championship and get the top bowl and win that bowl, or win every game and have a chance of complaining on why they did not make it in the playoffs for the NCAAA championships. Come on, as compared to post-68 football, we are riding the waves. Do not be satisfied, but do not denigrate victories!

Eyepatch? The 2012 team and starting undefeated for next year? I guess we'll see what we have in place by fall camp. Where we are at now with a second team all MAC QB from last season, bowl pasting, 9 wins after a season where we had 2 defensive players drafted in the first 5 rounds of the NFL. This is not exactly the Slavinist outcome predicted by some after finishing 6-6 in 2014. Few in that camp thought Frank would have another guy drafted or win another bowl game. Are we ready to stop underperforming and roll off an 11 or 12 win season? A season on the level we should have had a couple times by now, I hope so.
