You nailed it three games of no turnovers vs league teams would have resulted in 3 more wins but that wouldn't have satisfied everyone. Good point.

Yes we had the easiest opponent. More importantly, we made the game look like we had the easiest opponent. The team was ready to play. To declare we wouldn’t have won against another opponent is to blame UAB for losing rather than Ohio for winning. Odd.

Agreed. Bottom line is we showed up and didn't look out of sorts and when we had to stomp on their throats we did.

I am usually one to ride this team (as if my postings don't indicate that enough). But what we did to UAB in giving them zero hope is what teams in these scenarios are supposed to do and we did it. Simple as that, we got our win, and hopefully the Cats shut me up next year.

On another note, already am pumped up to go down for the UC game next year, as we have a group of us heading down to tailgate for it.

I agree, we shouldn't take anything away from the Cats, we should continue to expect more. Some fans who have voiced frustrations are not against the program, most of us are against the let downs and the consistently bad themes, tackling, coverage, recruiting and play calling. I think the Bahamas Bowl performance could be a step forward.

I see this bowl victory as a spring board for the current roster. I figured we would under perform in this bowl game but was pleasantly surprised. Proved to me they have the ability to play smart, focused, and INSPIRED football. I want this program to operate under a philosophy like Belicheck runs his team. One game at a time. Looking forward to how they open the season against Howard, the only opponent that this team should be focused on.

Amen. Belicheck also holds his players accountable in the film room as well.

Eh, UAB wasn't as good as their record indicated, but they weren't terrible either. They have decent wins over Southern Miss, MTSU, and LaTech.

Watching the game, I got the sense that maybe bowl week in the Bahamas got the best of them. A lot of dropped passes and mental breakdowns.
