I saw this randomly on TikTok and thought it was AI, but realized no one cares that much to troll either team.

Sad they stole the bricks though, I like that helmet brick stripe quite a bit.

This is lame AF. Typical Albin--can't come up with his own original thing.

Their schedule announcement... is a pile of bricks.

I mean, I realize OU doesn't have a trademark on bricks, but L-O-L

That's a pile of very uneven stones, not bricks. It's a very sloppily built stone wall, at that. Perhaps indicative of how easily opponents are going to be able to knock it over.

This is just creepy.

Yikes… the bricks on the helmets? Nothing says 49er more than bricks.

It’s kinda like if you divorced your spouse and then made sure the new one dressed exactly the same as your previous one.

Someone needs therapy.

They have a MAN running things over there. Men know value when they see it.

Agree. This is ex-boyfriend keeps parking outside your house weird. Someone needs to go have a talk with the boy.

You have GOT to be kidding me!

Their colors are "Charlotte Green" and "Niner Gold". WTF, did they buy some used Ohio jerseys and change the lettering???

Some on here may also be fans/followers of Uni-Watch, and they give a breakdown of the new look here:

https://uni-watch.com/2025/07/03/charlotte-49ers-football... /

The writer has a similar observation to those on BA...

Athens High School has been throwing around similar colors in the last several years. Possible overstock.( minus the bricks);)

"Stand Up and Fight for the Green and White"

Just say 'Stand Up and Cheer' and lets call it a day, folks.

They're probably gonna have the mascot ride out on a Harley too.

Speaking of bricks, on a side note, I haven't seen the new court in the
Roundhouse, I hope they didn't try to do those awful bricks on the sidelines. silly!. BTW that court was not needed. It was done in the breath of the early 2000's. Some contractors said it was not needed. $$$

Couldn't be more incorrect. The wood in Convo needed replaced 10 years ago. One more sanding and it turned to dust. Long overdue.

I on the other hand, like the bricks. A unique tie-in to your typical bland court.

It seems it was just yesterday (probably ten years ago, or so) that they put in a new floor. I remember folks here were posting shots as it was being installed. If that's all that the current floor lasted, they must have gotten it from Billy's Bargain Basement.

LOL, you actually have any pieces of the original flooring? It was also double layer tongue and grove over floor joist and cantilevered. The replacement used the thickest construction plywood in sheets, laid over the joist and a single level of flooring on basically on what then was a solid surface. Believe the Tom Boeh and Timmy O’Shea. Bull all you want.

Turns out North Carolina is a historic brick-making region and still has producers there.

But those uniforms are straight up larceny.

Does Charlotte have a fan that has reimagined the state flag in green and white?

The green and white jerseys are the same as last year, but with a gold band removed, though they will still wear gold because they have gold helmets and jerseys in addition to the green and white ones.

One nice thing about when Ohio was with Russell was that their uniforms looked different than everyone else. Now that they use the same suppliers as everyone else, they are less distinct.
