Well, it had to happen sooner or later. One school is claiming another school used NIL in an attempt to lure away a player under contract. Wis has sued MiamiF, claiming the Canes tried to coax DB Xavier Lucas to break his two-year contract with the Badgers. The suit claims the Canes offered Lucas more NIL money than he gets at Madison. Of course, the Canes deny the allegations, and another headline I saw stated that Lucas denies that the alleged meeting ever took place. https://www.si.com/college-football/wisconsin-sues-miami-...

Without conclusive proof to the contrary, I’d believe UW over UM any day of the week. This is the program largely responsible for the modern taunting rule, because of the uncontrolled behavior of its players back in the days of Johnson and Erickson. Remember the classic battles with UND in that time frame? There was a reason for the “Catholics vs Convicts” T-shirts. In that that time period, you can find numerous articles like this one:

Those teams were a total embarrassment to the game of football.

I mean, we have to know this is happening all over the place. There's no doubt about it. Glad someone is at least attempting to call an instance out.

As I recall, "the U" has been on probation several times while Wis has pretty much kept its nose clean.
