Coach passed away after losing his second battle with cancer. Ron was a great guy and an amazing asset to the Bobcat Football program in his time here in Athens. Keep his wife Sharon and their girls in your prayers.

Nice to see the university get behind an ex-coach and say thank you for the time he served the school. I have so many memories from his coached defensese and players through the years.

Coach Collins has gotten a better send-off by OhioBobcats.com than did former head coach Tom Lichtenberg, whose name was misspelled in a tardy news story.

It's sad to see him go from cancer at such a young age. He was a great addition to the Bobcat staff.
