FakeJeff tells me that the Fordham game is worrisome. Could be Frank's first loss to an FCS team. FJ warns us to beware the blocks of granite: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seven_Blocks_of_Granite

Frank would be 78 by the time this season rolls around.

Will Frank still be roaming the sidelines at 78?!?!?!?

I would not bet against it. I think his role model may very well be Amos Alonzo Stagg, who continued as a head coach until he was 83, and then was an assistant coach under his son until he was 89. With modern medicine, Frank might be able to break Stagg's record by a decade or more.

Who is in charge of giving our offensive line this year a cool (and deserving) nickname!?

Well, given the local geology, they could be the seven blocks of sandstone! :-)

Florida Atlantic is a quality home and home.

At Rutgers in 2023 is a good away game - ton of Alumni in NYC area.

Syracuse folks opinions on this game and other stuff.

FYI, Akron got a 2 for 1 with UK wrapped up today.

Those 2-1 deals are a real budget killer, what with two road trips, and no pay. Contrast that with doing a 1-1, plus a single paid away game form $850k, and you can see a big advantage to how Ohio does things. Given Akron's precarious financial situation, how can they afford to do 2-1 deals? I guess they will just play 5 game home schedules, and play a paid game in place of a home FCS game, but that only leads to the question of why build a nice stadium if you aren't going to play there.

Better schedule than most we've had recently. Who knows how FAU will be...but they had a great season this year.
