Maybe that’s why this years recruiting class is heavy in WRs?

WR is one position that we could take a hit or two on.

I would hate to see this. He seemed like a high-upside playmaker type that the team got lucky landing. It's not like Darrell Hazel ended up coaching another school either.

Yep he is there now. Certainly was not there when I posted that above. I checked 3 times and used the find function with no results. Maybe they were doing some updates on the site?

They added the new guys so maybe that was the cause of the glitch.

Shame to see him go but it’s February and I’m looking at a roster on OhioBobcats.com. This is truly a great thing. This roster usually shows up right before the Spring Game, color me surprised.

Mayne Williams also not on the 2018-19 roster. Expected, but still disappointing.

What happened to Mayne Williams? Is his injury ending his career?

Yep. Or at least, that was the word last year. There was some hope he might be able to play again, but not much.

Too early for a speculative two-deep?

C Money's Post-National Signing Day & Updated 2018-19 Roster/Pre-Spring Speculative Two-Deep

QB: Rourke, Maxwell (at least until Joe Burrow graduates and transfers in over the summer /sarc)
RB: OUellette, Ross (Does Irons have his head on straight now?)
WR1: Ball, Cherry
WR2: White, Seymour
WR3: Meyer, Odom
TE: Brown, Luehrman (I am noncommittal as to which Luehrman)
LT: Pleasants, Hayes
RT: Lowery, Grimes
LG: Wood, Kitrell
RG: Anderson, Meservy (I’m curious to see if the Albanian Bear makes a push for playing time at either G position)
C: Notestine, Meservy/Hayes (as needed)

DE: Berger, Conrad
DT: Payne, Caesar
NT: Coleman, Burks
DE: Evans, Key
SLB: Conner, Dorsa
MLB: Popp, Clack
WLB: Crouch, Robinson
CB: Brooks, Motley (like the Luehrmans, I am not committal on which one)
FS: Nelson, Gullet
SS: Hagan, Mitchell
CB: Fox, Hudson

Overall thoughts: We have so many different combinations we can go with on both the lines. Skill positions on offense seem set, with a surprise breakout at the third WR potentially. The potential in the back half of the defense is there, but unless we’ve had some big development from the 2nd year players at CB I’m still going to be holding my breath any time the opposing QB drops back to pass. The D line just needs to make sure there isn’t time for that to happen and it will all work out.

Looks decent....though I think the OL sides are switched. I think Meservy wins out at center. Senior Kyle Kuhar is depth and he can play TE.

On D Amir Miller can play some DE if healthy as can Sam McKnight.

Any true Freshmen that play will probably be on D and they could include LBer Keye Thompson and
safety Jeremiah Wood.

I think you're right re Meservy at C, if Tusha fills the role of backup (or starting) G. If not, I think we need Meservy to fill that gap and Notestine to focus on C.

I forgot about Kuhar as potentially a TE. Hmmmm.....I do like an extra road grader.....
