Sorry. Was genuinely surprised there are no posts about last night's game.

It was a great game to watch, I'm just sick of the SEC.

Last night just reminded me the different and much higher level of football the Alabama's and the Georgia's play versus Ohio. Dang last night's players were fast, and strong! DaRon Payne looked like a man amongst boys. We think Papi White's fast. He would not stand out on either of last night's teams.

I agree. I was watching this game bedside on my iPad. At one point, I thought it was fast-forwarding, but it was just that the players are that fast.

They won part-2 of their conference championship game. UCF is the national champion in every way that matters in college football (that is, they are claiming the title, and I am happy to respect their claim).

Tradition!

I enjoyed the first half and in past National Championship games the marching bands were shown however briefly at half time.

I was waiting to see them and when a dude starts performing on some stage and that is broadcast---it immediately became bed time.

So to the NCAA football folks I'll not even tune in next year.

And, if at Peden the scoreboard starts taking time away from when the 110 normally toots than I'll stop coming to games there as well.

Tradition!

I'd pitch in for a small trophy to be awarded to the national champion selected in a Bobcat Attack Top 25 poll.

(UCF gets my vote for #1)

Also, it appears we got a vote in the Coaches Poll. So we got that going for us.

I would have like to see at least a bit of the bands also.

But,from hearing people who were there, there were all kinds of issues with sound.

Not uncommon for a dome, especially a new one.
Lots of echo's and distortions.
They said even the officials calls were "bouncing" all over the place.

I follow Drum Corps and, after Monday night, several people expressed concerns over the acoustics for next summer's event there.

Probably half of the NCAA men's basketball champs didn't win their conference (regular season or tournament) either.

Since Alabama is pretty much a fixture in these national championship games, I want halftime to feature whatever gets those girls in the sequin outfits with the batons on screen the most.
