Most enjoyable bowl game I've seen since the Independence. Solid effort on both sides of the ball. Way to go, guys! Hope this carries over to next year.
Same here. Ohio fans don't have too many no-doubters, so it's sorta fun to just watch us Tecmo-bowl a team every now & then.

Happy to see Dorian Brown, which I believe is also my major, run wild against UAB. If he wants to try at the next level, I hope this performance gives him the shot at it. If not I am glad he went out as player of the game.

Sorry that AJ got hurt again. Hope he can heal and contribute next year. Or at least not have a long lasting injury. That guy is so tough.

This has been posted on social media a number of times now, but for anyone that wants a little laugh and hasn't read it, read the first two posts about the bowl game from reddit here: https://www.reddit.com/r/CFB/comments/7lj7wz/i_am_current... /

I could go on and on about the game. But in the end... A great day to be a Bobcat. Hope everyone that made the trip enjoyed it. Best bowl location of the ~40 by far IMO.

A dominating performance from start to finish. Great way to cap off a 9-win season and go into the off-season on a positive.

That reddit thread is way too funny....for example:

Damn. And my school plays in Birmingham tomorrow. WTF? USF might as well slide down into CUSA. At least CUSA and MAC have the "Bahamas-Give-Zero-Fu#ks-Bowl", which sounds way better than the "Let's-Play-Somewhere-Cold-and-Crappy Bowl"

If you haven't read the thread yet, it sounds like everyone loved it down there. Folks who have read the thread are saying they might go next year even if they do not have a team in the bowl just for the atmosphere.

bonus question: where did Ohio play and where did Central play?,,,,lol...

Does anyone know what was in the players' swag bag for the bowl?

Did they all get a 6'er of Goomba Juice?

If you are ever in the Bahamas and are considering sampling Goomba Juice-don't.

If we ever get back to this Bowl be sure to try and make it to the game.

Just a beautiful place and the Bahamians really go out of their way to be hospitable.

Kudos to the MAC conference for making this alliance. Most of the players, band and staff are getting a vacation experience of a lifetime. About 300 people at the pre game Bobcat Bash.

As an alum it was great to see so many Bobcats in such a beautiful place.

The game wasn't bad either :)

I'm thrilled with OHIO's performance yesterday. Couldn't have went any better. Great way for a good class of seniors to go out!

They did not play at halftime. A very good Bahamas marching band performed for the half.

Noticed in the recap that on Russ's call on the game's first TD that he threw in an "Oh my". Couldn't help but wonder if that was in honor of the great Dick Enberg.

Guessing it was. After watching that whole clip that Ted posted and reflecting on some of the folks I've watched on TV this year, it's amazing Russ is still here. He is far better than half the on air talent today.

+1 yep it was intentional. DE's passing was mentioned by Russ a couple times during the broadcast.

Knowing they weren't going to be playing halftime may be one of the reasons they only sent 80 band members.

Money was the reason particularly after going to NY for the parade.

I successfully didn't find out the result until I could watch the entire game. That was a good one. The guys looked like they did against Toledo.

Some of the tackles that Brown broke were INSANE. On the one that he lost the ball, he was practically face down on the ground with a guy on top of him before he stood up and ran away.

It would have been great to get a couple more wins this year, but I hope the seniors find this bowl a rewarding end to their collegiate careers. It's been really fun watching those guys.
