I agree. He is tough and loves the game. I hope he gets a FA opportunity somewhere.

Me, too. He would have had an even better chance, in my opinion, if someone hadn't screwed up and cost him a year of eligibility by playing him for a few minutes in his Sophomore year, when he should have redshirted.

His bio says he played in 8 games as a sophomore, and he played in 4 consecutive years.

He’s also a Little on the short side for an NFL team.

Brown did not sign a free-agent deal. He has been invited to Steelers Rookie Camp and will get a chance to show his stuff. Basically a tryout. Hopefully he will turn a few heads and get the free-agent deal and be in training camp this summer.

People that get drafted usually make it to the team, though they may not play much, and if they don't, may not make the team the second year. People that get signed as an un-drafted free agent sometimes make the team, but are much less likely to. People that get invited to a mini-camp basically have a couple days to impress the coaches enough to get upgraded to UFA, so their odds are very long indeed. Maybe one in twenty mini-camp invitees ends up with a UFA contract, but even then, they still face long odds to make the team. Blankenship was a case in point - he did get a UFA contract from his mini-camp invite, but didn't make the team.

Just because the odds are long doesn't mean he shouldn't give it his best shot. I am glad Dorian is getting a shot, and I hope he does well.

He did not play in 8 games...it was more like 8 plays in one game.

Not what his OHIO University Bio shows, maybe you should find more/better proof than the OHIO University bio/media guide. Doesn’t matter, he’s still a 6’ Center, which is very rare in the NFL.

The Steelers signed two players from the rookie camp and unfortunately Dorian isn't one of them: https://www.behindthesteelcurtain.com/2018/5/14/17352960/...

That's a bit of a bummer, but I hope Dorian gets another chance. I have been one of his biggest supporters after seeing the great player that he blossomed into this season. Loved watching how well he played in the Bahamas Bowl.
