Anybody making plans to go to the game at Virginia?

There should be a good group at Cincinnati.

Going to a game at Virginia was highly recommended to me by a well known national sports statistical expert (former MLB scout). If he said it, I am seriously going to have to consider going.

I always wanted to see the Shenandoah Mountains and Valley... this would make it a good multiple purpose trip. Do you think the 110 will be there?

I'm trying to get a big group for Cincinnati as I know plenty of Ohio and UC people. I'm a maybe for Miami, but would be solidly in if it were on a Saturday. Weekday games require more ducks in their rows first.

Charlottesville is awesome on days when the Hitler youth don't buy all the tiki torches from Menards. A rich man's Athens.

I'm going to try to go to the UVA game with some '05 and '06 friends. Ultimately it will depend on (work and childcare related) schedules. Cautiously optimistic!

trump is having a rally against minorities in Bunfart WV that day, so sports fans and paralegals should be safe in Charlottesville.

I'll be staying out of that part of Virginia since I am not sure what restaurants will serve me.

I'm seriously considering going to the Virginia game from New York. I'll know for sure in a couple of weeks and then will try to get a ticket that would put me in the Ohio section.

Not serving Huckabee-Sanders was completely legal.

Fascist is not a protected class under current U.S. laws and statutes.

Not according to the schedule on their website.

Looks like their only away game will be Cincy.

The website says additional performances to be determined, so there's always a chance. UVA didn't have a marching band until 2004, so the visitors brought their band or occasionally other bands would fill in. The 110 performed at the Ohio-UVA game in the early '90s that I went to. And as I recall, they performed at another UVA game in the late '90s, early aughts when the football team had a week off.

Highly doubt there’s any chance the 110 will be at Virginia. The Cavaliers website lists the OHIO game as Band and Youth Day. That pretty much assures there will be no time or room allotted to a visiting team’s band.

I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Based on logistics (food, housing, transportation) their "big' (overnight) trips are planned way in advance.

Normally, they only add "local" event like HS games.

I was surprised when I saw their schedule that the UVA game would have been on it.

Doesn't look like any "big" trips for this year.

As mentioned earlier, the 110 is not going to UVA due to that game being the UVA Band Day.
