Medina Cat & Sam Bobcat not sure what you don't get. Coach O'Shea and his wife are back where they want to be--retired in their 50s, not a bad gig if you can get it. The same goes for Coach Willingham and his wife. However, they are really sitting pretty because they made lots more money and they too are retired in their 50s, which is why I said Coach Willingham might be the smartest of the lot (even if his record left a lot to be desired). They are away from the stress of coaching, they probably have fond memories of what they have accomplished, or at least tried to accomplish, and it appears they are happy in their retirement.

Some people never know when to quit, no matter how much money they have. Watching the Roll Tide (fall camp) show on ESPN, it seems Coach Saban (who is about 10 years older) looks like he could use some time to enjoy the fruits of his labor. Maybe he still loves doing what he is doing and all of the limelight make it hard for him to show it. He just looks a little stressed out. All I am trying to say is too many people die or get serious illnesses before they have time to enjoy the big nest egg they have built up. Coach O'Shea and Coach Willingham seem to be pretty happy right now.
Okay that makes sense to me. I don’t think that’s what’s going on with Meyer, but you’re right about it working out for O’Shea and Willingham. Maybe the distraction will be enough to lose a few games they shouldn’t lose. Except against Michigan. I love watching Harbaugh lose too.

I think it's hilarious that the Burrow thread was getting the "he isn't an Ohio University player so why are we talking about him" treatment but the second there's a problem in Cow Town the Urban Meyer thread is 7+ pages strong.
Yes, there is certainly a difference between Ohio fans praising and following an Ohio State player and Ohio fans relishing in another Ohio State scandal. They are kinda different.
Semantics. It's still talk about non-Bobcat football any way you spin it.
Okay. I spin it as there’s a difference between cheering for your nemesis and enjoying their embarrassment. That isn’t semantics. It’s two entirely different agendas. I don’t have any sympathy for you because you like the buckeyes. I’m a Bobcat fan. Only.
Do you not see how little it makes you to partake in that? I'm a Bobcat fan, too. I come here to read about Ohio Bobcat football. What does Urban Meyer have to do with Ohio Bobcat football? If I want to read about their program I can find it on their pages. Burrow at least was connected to our program through his dad and was a local kid.

Have to add "the O-Zone ain't what it used to be", and the similar debate about how to attract students/millennials to games.

No. Like I said. I don’t give a crap about one of the coaches kids who chose to go to the buckeyes. I have no problem with people talking trash about the Bobcats foes. That’s part of being a Bobcat fan. Praising one of your foes because he came from your home town isn’t. If he had come to Ohio to play it would be a completely different situation. I don’t see how that makes me little any more than it makes you a traitor. I believe he rejected Ohio once again to go to Louisiana State. Maybe you can start a discussion about Coach Isphording’s kids. I heard one is a hell of a finger painter.

I only counted 6274.512 people at the start of the game. The athletic department is lying!

Plus 4832.214543 people left after the band played. All the numbers are made up.

As an old one recently popped up in another thread, let's not forget the longstanding question as to whether Ohio's Strength and Conditioning program is the reason for Ohio's injuries, and/or, the muscle cramping when they play indoors late in the season (i.e. in the MACC).
