I would like to see someone like Arkley keep track of our injuries for this year.
I would appreciate this report containing what the injury is, expected time out, as well as reporting when the player has recovered and fully available.
Injuries are a key element to a teams success in this sport and for the full time fan it would be great to have a detailed weekly accounting.

Teams don't like to disclose injuries because if gives the other team an advantage, especially if there is not reciprocal information. Look for improved information only if new rules were to require all teams to disclose injuries.

I saw a report yesterday from one of the conferences that new gambling laws may make it necessary to start reporting injury status.

HIPA would have to be waived and on the college campus I doubt that will happen.

Obviously, the NCAA could require students to waive HIPA in order to participate in athletics, but like you, I doubt that is going to happen.

I'd like to see this taken hilariously in the opposite direction.

"Injury report: out of 120 team members (scholarship + walk-on), 8 are unavailable due to injury, 42 are playing with some degree of injury, and 70 have minor impairment or no impairment of note."

No one is injured, but the entire team is a gametime decision for "unspecified violation of team rules."

Based on today's Messenger report it appears that we are getting a number of players back on the practice field.
I like the fact that he reports by position which really gives us readers a better sense of where the injuries are. Great work Jason
