I see that Frank says he doesn’t want a qb controversy but it’s tough to ignore game 1. Sure seems to be trending to some type of timeshare at the very least. So who do you got, Rourke, Maxwell, or timeshare?

From my vantage point I agree with Frank on Rourke being the starter.
If my memory is correct, Rourke had a bad game last year with 3 turnovers, and remained the started for the rest of the season and the year turned out OK.
Obviously Frank likes all that Rourke brings to the position that Maxwell doesn't.
We also learned from Jason's tweet,that a possible injury to Rourke was not true as to why he was benched.
It will certainly be interesting to see how he plays next week.
As a side issue, how Maxwell is handling this decision. If he is mature and understands then the team is stronger.

Ohio is very lucky to have two winning QBs. I prefer Rourke to Maxwell as a starter at this point but we can win a ton with maxwell: Rourke gives us more options (see what happened there?) but maxwell is a winner and has so far a better deep ball. I'd like to see more of the WR corps too especially if we do not establish a connection with some of the WRs currently getting reps, I dont know what their plans are with WR True Frosh Shane Hooks this year but I might give him some redzone looks this week vs Virginia: I think we got a guy there. In camp he reportedly showed as tough, determined, and talented.

I met Mr. Hooks at the Ohio U. Inn and if I was a betting man, I would say he is going to catch a lot of balls and have a good career at Ohio. The future is bright.
