Don’t get me wrong.

I can’t complain much since we won, but I had a most disappointing moment.

Was it the grounding of Air Canada?

Was it a DB or two whose new nickname is toast?

Was it the worst officiating since the imaginary safety?

None of the above.

What happened to game programs?

Having T'erd play Fiami and knowing both teams couldn't lose.

It has to be when our O Line couldn't keep making first downs via the running game.

How about giving up 600+ yards. Then, add the fact that Howard had a huge O-line that protected the QB. Add to that the fact that our skill guys WR and DB must be the smallest in D1 football. Then, throw in the comparison to the Howard CB and WR who were BIG, FAST and created SEPARATION. Have to admit I was impressed with their grit and determination. Just glad we ran one kick back and had 4 turnovers or we would have been toast. A long way to go if we want to be Champs!

This. It's a big reason why I think Rourke should have had another series in the 2nd half. That was our 3rd offensive series, I think. The first went 3 and out, but started in crappy field position. The second was a nice drive, then stalled and resulted in a missed FG. The third was another nice drive and should have been six points, but that's on the coaches.

Yes, Rourke was 2/8, with a REALLY bad decision on the 3rd down throw at the goal line. But he shouldn't have been in that position to begin with, and the offense wasn't as bad as his stat line would indicate. We were moving the ball on the ground.

The DBs were really bad, that'd be my top pick of negatives. Yes we won but I'm not real thrilled with things and scared for Virginia.

"REALLY bad decisions" i.e. fumbles will find you on the sidelines. I assume 7 and 12 were closer through the fall than any of us realize. Was not watching, only listening. The radio broadcast gave me the impression the QBs and RBs still need to smooth out the read option which "made" Rourke's year this past. JMHO
