Hey all,
I got season tickets this year for the first time. Unfortunately though, it's also the first time I'll be driving in from out of town specifically to attend the game only. I've always stayed with people in town and walked to the games from houses. As I'm getting older, I'm now driving in and tailgating and leaving after the game.
What's the tailgate scene look like for those driving in from out of town? I know the tailgreat park is an option but I'd rather do a traiditonal tailgate by my car.
What lots can I do this in? Can I buy single game tickets in the tailgreat lot? How strict are they on open containers if I'm near my car? etc. etc.

The grass lot is for cars, it's just grass instead of asphalt. but all the lots allow tailgating.

Did you get a parking pass? If so which lot are you in? You can tailgate in all. Use a cup for your drinks or a koozie. Never have had a problem. If you park on the edge of most lots it will give you a little more space to tailgate.

Tried to get a season pass but I procrastinated too long and the ticket rep guy said they're all sold out except GameDay lots.
Gonna try to get single game parking passes for a few of the weekend games and just go GameDay lots otherwise. Don't mind walking from uptown or far out lots but I will have a couple games with an older family member who will want to be as close as possible.
Any idea when single game parking passes go on sale and how easy it is to get either blue lot or tailgreat area for single games?

Curious about the Blue Lot question here. Anyone have any input there? Based on the map, there are now what look like two blue lots, or a differentiation between those lots, which is confusing.
