Well, it had to happen sooner or later. One school is claiming another school used NIL in an attempt to lure away a player under contract. Wis has sued MiamiF, claiming the Canes tried to coax DB Xavier Lucas to break his two-year contract with the Badgers. The suit claims the Canes offered Lucas more NIL money than he gets at Madison. Of course, the Canes deny the allegations, and another headline I saw stated that Lucas denies that the alleged meeting ever took place.
