No current Bobcats. One former Bobcat (Will Kacmarek). Toledo had more from their secondary than the rest of the MAC (including their own team) combined, and the MAC had zero offense or special teams players selected. In fact, except for San Diego State DB Chris Johnson, the players listed below were the only G5 defensive players invited to the combine:

DL Nadame Tucker, Western Michigan
LB Red Murdock, Buffalo
DB Andre Fuller, Toledo
DB Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, Toledo
DB Avery Smith, Toledo

Combine invites have always been greatly flawed. The guys at the top don't even work out. They take up space just to get their heights registered.

Do we really need to see Mendoza throwing at the combine? He's gonna hold private workouts with a small handful of teams.

It's guys like Sieh, who put up big numbers, and are inexplicably left off that need and deserve the extra eyes and attention.

Don’t be surprised if Emmanuel McNeil-Warren of the Rockets gets selected in late first round or the second round. Mel Kiper had him as one of the top safeties on his board.
