Kent State RB/WR Cade Wolford has also entered the Transfer Portal as of 12/5/25. Third Team All MAC, 509 Receiving Yards, 7 Receiving TDs, 26.8 YPC, 96 Rushing Yards, 1 Rushing Touchdown.

Southeast Ohio kid originally out of Jackson
Let's get him as an RB!
Expressed ZERO interest in him coming out of HS.
Yeah I remember a family member of mine on Jackson’s coaching staff told me he was hoping for an OU offer but they showed zero interest. I’m hoping they show interest now given how explosive of a receiver he was this past year at Kent
I hope he goes elsewhere, we totally ignored a great young man of proven talent and character. He is the best Jackson player since Erik Davis, Doug Wooten (both Cats) and his father was offered a PWO. His dad was a better RB.

Victor Snow entering the portal. So both of Buffalo's stud WRs and Miami's Kam Perry will be portaling. Three 1st Team All-MAC WRs

I guess it's not surprising.

I agree that he is a talented young man of great character, who was drastically under recruiting coming out of Jackson (only 2 FBS offers to Akron and Kent). That’s exactly why I would love for him to become a Bobcat. He has completely changed his game from what he was at Jackson and has become a 3rd Team All MAC player with the potential to reach greater heights if given the opportunity. That’s the exact type of player I’d want to be a Bobcat

That great coach in Charlotte showed no interest? The kid must have owned cats......

This wasn't a surprise as many of us thought that would happen at the end of the regular season.

Yep, gotta appreciate that he played with a lot of heart in the bowl game.

He should get a nice payday from a P4 school, deservedly so.

Hunt averaged 3 yards per carry.

It's the second string RB at MTSU (DJ Taylor) we should want. The one that averaged almost 8 yards per carry. The 200 pound guy with track sprinter speed.

https://goblueraiders.com/sports/football/roster/dj-taylo...

If he goes into the portal that is.

I am good with Chase getting paid. He has done a lot to improve and balled out against UNLV!

I would take Spetic back today. Maybe Hunt but Brune-Taylor can be a great tandem!

Unlikely. He’s a true JR. I didn’t see him in any photos with Sieh, Harris, etc

Fingers crossed Harris stays and he’s next man up.

*Edit*

RHJ… I wish you the best. Would love to see you come hOUme. No shame. Only met him once maybe twice, and he seemed like the nicest kid. He just seemed like he wanted to be close to home. And then got rugged pulled. And then ended up on one of the worst teams in FBS. I wonder if he finds his spot back at Tulsa, or Ok State with their shake ups..

Spetic…

He is chasing P4 cash. He’s not coming back to OU. He’s hoping that 4-5 from 50 lands him in the Big 10.

Congratulations on an amazing Bobcat career, Chase. Stepped up when we needed a another #1 when Owen graduated. As others have pointed out, always balled out hard. Continued the tradition of some great WR's I have seen in person at Peden, and his catch this year against Ohio A&M in prime time was one of the greatest plays this season.

My favorite thing about Chase…when the passing game bogged down for a few weeks and he didn't get the targets, he didn't pout or anything, he just blocked his ass off and helped Sieh, Parker, and Brune bust out some big runs.

Hit 51 and 53 yarders in same game this year.

As Mike C mentioned above, the kicker from Wheelersburg the Bobcats signed is a good one. Guessing Gianni is moving on at Memphis because the new coach is bringing in someone else? The Wheelersburg K will help the kicking game.

Hendricks was a stud and will definitely be missed. But he put his time in here and is well deserving of the nil money that is likely out there for him now. Are we thinking he's starting caliber at most big ten and sec level schools?

I am guessing he can be the starting slot receiver at 75-85% of schools in the country. He doesn’t just run good routes and have great hands, he puts in the work blocking.

Missouri needs a #1 WR. Or even a strong #2. Beau Prubila will be back and needs some weapons. They play UVA tomorrow, but after that I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s visiting.
