Looks like what’s a 3 star coming out of high school. Searching Twitter quickly, it looks like he had recent interest from VCU, Southern Illinois, BYU and Wofford.

Out of sheer boredom and in anticipation of the coming seasons, watched some full halves of Old Dominion basketball from last year. Jaylin was clearly the coach on the floor making sure to get guys where they needed to be and running the sets the coach on the sideline wanted… He even made one of my favorite plays in one of the WKU games where he inbounded the ball off the back of a defender and made a jumper with 3 seconds left on the clock… BTW, did you know WKU had a 7’5” player last year? Dude blocked a shot by Jaylin in each game from way outside… Hopefully Jaylin is working on using our bigs to get room to get off his shot….

Go Bobcats!

Very good to hear. I totally expect he will be our starting PG for 2022-23 and based on a few conversations I've had with him on campus he is ready and excited for the season! IMO, he could be an upgrade from Mark Sears.

I don't know if he will be an upgrade over Mark. Sears was pretty darn good. Mark's biggest flaw, which coupled with the flaw of JC and BVP, was that he was a ballstopper. He and the other two were great players but when they got the ball, the flow of the offense was over. I think Jaylin, coupled with the talent Boals has assembled, will be more fun to watch from a ball movement standpoint.

Is that just a nice way to say ball hog?
