The King led Northland to an upset win over Africentric in the Columbus City League championship game. He outscored Africentric Dailyn Swain (1st team all-Ohio and Xavier recruit) 33-28 and hit two free throws with with 3.8 seconds left in the 2-point win.

What Ohio basketball player also attended Northland HS? Hint: as a freshman, he hit one of the biggest shots in Bobcat basketball history.

Another, longer, video. Consistently shoots with both hands...never seen this in my life.

Love the way this guy plays, so under control but still aggressive as a freshman. I hate to be this guy, but he's getting much better offers than us by the time he's 18.

I think that's just to show Boals has gotten guys to the league. I don't hate it.

Correct. . . 1983 first-round NCAA tournament win v. Illinois St. I still say he got fouled on the shot but luckily the off-balanced jumper went in for the win so the no-call wasn't a factor.
