what about gary trent .dave jamerson, snoopy graham, and walter luckett? those guys were way above dj cooper and mark sears. and walter was ranked number one in overall recruits. this guy does sound like a wonderful pick up.what are the odds he will enter the portal after his first season? id say he,ll be a one and done from the looks of it.
Gary Trent was an after thought on the recruiting trail. Played in a poor conference, with non athletes and didn’t do the entire AAU circuit, plus wasn’t a given in eligibility. Yes he shot 82% his senior year, but no one in his league was taller than 6’4, no one else on his team was 6’
Hey, I resemble that remark! MSL Buckeye forever. 5th grade me literally could not believe his eyes watching Trent play my brother's friends.

MSL Buckeye has had two 1st round draft picks/NBA players in the modern era. A decent amount of D1 guys too. How many non-D1 leagues in Ohio can say that?

Trent was an afterthougtht, but not because he didn't have talent. The Ohio State coach at the time, Randy Ayers, said several years later that Trent was the best player in the state his senior season. His issues were off the court, (grades, the crowd he hung out with, etc.)
