This is crazy exciting and I'm not sure I can make sense of it in the NIL world but could be absolutely huge for our program.
With P5 programs targeting proven commodities (in the sense of experienced transfers from smaller schools who have already produced in college) the natural next step is less scholarship spots at those programs for talented HS players. Sure, P5's will still target some 4* and 5* players every year but not at the same volume as in the past. More for us!
While losing our best players to NIL transfer is depressing, this is the exact scenario where not *everything* about this new landscape is all bad for Ohio. We just have to take advantage of it which we appear to have here
