Looks like we're trying to build inroads at another basketball factory; we offered two of his teammates as well who ended up committing to Murray State and EMU. I'm sure we've offered other guys from there before, but interesting to note this is where Andrew Wiggins came from.

Great commit! I like the Ndour comparison.

Get some muscle on him and he will be a force. Wonder if he might still grow a couple inches as well

One might assume because d-1 programs have gone so portal crazy, they are neglecting some very good high school talent.

Since this is basically a basketball prep school, I’m assuming they spread the minutes around to as many players as possible. Tell me more about his minutes, shooting percentages etc and we could probably evaluate his numbers with a lot more certainly. Right now I have no idea what it means.

Utah St, Youngstown, UALR and EMU. Not a bad list. Ohio has a good track record developing players.

Lots of great points on this thread. Didn’t mean his stats to be a disparaging remark. Mark Sears was 14 ppg and 3 asst at Hargrave and everyone knows about Preston. Hope he’s on campus sooner than later.

And generally speaking, this recruiting class has shaped up nicely these last few weeks, right? This is the sprinkles for sure.

FWIW, the Huntington Prep roster is full of guys getting looks and there are only so many balls to go around. Very possible Kuany just got "lost" in the shuffle amongst everyone else.

Darryn Peterson (2025 class) - offers from virtually every power program in the country.

Dillon Tingler (2024 class) - offers from a host of mid majors, including Ohio, Miami, Marshall and Akron - signed with EMU.

Anthony Gilkes (2024 class) - currently unsigned with offers from LSU, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech and Wichita State.

Braydon Hawthorne (2025 class) - offers from Wichita State and Radford.

Micah Tucker (2025 class) - offers from Cincinnati and a handful of SEC schools.

Ok Boals, it's time for a freshman big man to get some PT and show us something. I understand development but it's been a while since we had a legit big man get meaningful minutes and develop. I actually liked Nolan Foster but Boals must not have liked him as much. Kuany and Evans both look ready to play to me so LET'S FREAKING GO!

Somebody on a different social media thinks the NLI signing is now more of a formality in this age of transfer-at-the-drop-of-a-hat and that anybody who didn't sign by May 15th can now simply sign the day they enroll at school.

At least that's their version.
