Both of these guys looked like they could be solid contributors in the A-10, so why not for OHIO??? We certainly need the big in Latham, not so sure about Canty though because of our depth at the wings we'll most likely have. But he's got great athleticism and a decent outside shot.

Latham, a 6-8 forward from Baltimore, Md.,

That sounds vaugely familiar...

We need a big who can play right away next year, not have to sit out a transfer year.

THe yearly transfers from X. SOme go to NKU , others.....

You got anyway of going back through and looking to see how many guys quietly slipped away over the last decade or so.

Nope but I could probably find out from a buddy who is a super X fan. I've only been around that campus for two years now and there have been three transfers that I know of, the other being guard Brian Walsh.

I forgot about Walsh.

Transferred to AKRON in a kind of a wierd Bubba payback scenario. Walsh is a hard worker. Nice pick up for them. TJ and Rico gonna have their hands full guarding that one. He is a shooter I have great respect for .....and I still stand by my initial impression that OHio was his best fit given the presence of Redford. 3 ball shooters been having a hard go of things at X eh?

Apparantly, borna. Walsh just never fit into the rotation at X the whole time he was here. He's a great shooter, not quite as good as Redford, but he's taller so it's easier for him to get a shot off. He's a pretty steady defender too, so Akron got a pretty good deal out the situation. I honestly forgot he even transferred to Akron. I was hoping he landed somewhere closer to his hometown in PA, like Robert Morris and such. The only thing I have yet to see from him is to perform with consistent playing time. He got limited minutes at X, so he could never essentially show what he was capable of. Should be interesting to watch whether or not he takes advantage of his new situation up in the JAR.
