6'4" 200 lbs. Hiland HS
Ohio is still listed as one of the schools he is considering along with Akron, Miami and Eastern Michigan. I know he was getting looks from some big programs, such as Duke. ESPN gives him a Scout Grade of 85. I was wondering if Ohio has a good chance of landing him and what is his potential.

Loads of potential from what I hear. I know for a fact he's visited both Duke and Ohio State already. I'm interested to see what his new grade will be going into next season, and I suspect it goes up from an 85.

Wasn't sure if we were still recruiting this kid or not, but Dylan and the boys will be in Columbus this weekend. Nice little writeup on him in the Times Reporter...

Hiland won last night, and will play Harvest Prep for the D IV championship tomorrow (Saturday) at 1:30pm on STO in HD.

Would love to get him, if only because it would be a player from my neck of the woods!

And Dylan and the Hawks win the D4 State title...

Team has a ton of pieces coming back, would not be suprised to see them repeat next year. Although, it's quite hard to do at the small school level from what I've seen.

I watched that game on STO. Was impressed with Kaufman and the 6-7 sophomore kid (Bonifant).

Interesting tidbit on THAT situation. Bonifant and Kaufman were teammates on the same AAU team, while Bonifant was attending a rival school (Strasburg-Franklin) in the same conference. Welp, Bonfinant transfers to Hiland over the summer. Huuuuuuge impact on the IVC race this season. Hiland was already stacked with talent, then they added another solid D1 prospect in Bonifant. People were not happy in the East Central Ohio area. Noah Boyd is another kid from Hiland to keep an eye on as well. Someone from the Wooster newspaper wrote an interesting article on the entire situation. I am going to dig and try to find it. I dont think they are still on the same AAU team but I could be wrong.
