Fisher scored 16 of his 19 points in the 2nd half as Reynoldsburg ends Newark's 11-game winning streak and dropping the Wildcats to 14-2. Now listed at 6-6 and with 6 DI offers, Fisher had 2 dunks during Reynoldsburg's 25-1 2nd half run.

Offers from Ohio, Akron, Kent State, Youngstown State and Texas Rio Grande Valley.

Link to squared's update below:

“Jordan’s dunks are worth a lot more than two points because they get the crowd and our entire team going,”

Yeah...we need some of that.

Tremendous signing. This is one of the targets last two years I was hoping we’d get. Staff is putting in some serious work. Welcome Jordan.

Absolutely no question we are getting better freshmen as a result of the portal.

I love that Jordan’s announcement graphic included Nick Kellogg. Even had a photo of himself as a kid holding a sign with Nick’s name on it. What a fun full circle moment for him.

Yep, that's been a huge takeaway of mine as well. With bigger programs focused on getting the top transfers, we've been able to land higher level high school recruits which is exciting. It'll be even better if we can convince a few of them to remain at Ohio for more than a couple years.

Finally had some time to watch his highlights. He certainly has the mid range game down. Pretty solid pull up jumper that kinda reminds me of how McDay played. Didn’t see too many shots from 3 so we’ll have to figure out what he’s made of from out there.

Nice jump stop/finish game. Reminds me a bit of Walter Offutt.

That's what I like to hear!

Go Bobcats!

Edit: Well, that link won't take you to Zack Fleer's Twitter so... He basically says that Jordan was the superstar of this year's Brick Summer League. Is it just me or do players still usually do this type of League after their Junior season? Especially considering that he is already going somewhere after
High school?

Looks like he is related to the Kellogg family: https://ohiobobcats.com/news/2024/11/12/ohio-mens-basketb... . If he's anything like Nick, on and off the court, he'll be a fan favorite.

Old video of last year's game vs Pick Central where he scored 34 in the win. Had a huge three and two free throws late in the 4th while trailing to send it to OT.

He's rail thin, but man he has some length - something that this squad desperately needs. Hoping the coaches can turn him into a lockdown defender, because his body type is perfect for getting in passing lanes. Not really seeing the Walt Offutt comparison here. Not as strong taking it to the cup, but does have a more refined jumper.

Reynoldsburg got smoked by Olentangy in the State Championship but Jordan showed up big time. He had a great game. McKinney was solid but Bowens showed he isn't ready for primetime just yet. Jordan is a calm and cool player. I look forward to seeing him this year. I think all three of our freshmen will be instant impacts.

Bowens was great in the sectional final. They would've lost without him, no doubt.
