Saw where Ball State got another verbal recently.  That young man may turn out to be a good MAC player, but I couldn't help but notice the other schools which offered him...Colgate, Northern Kentucky, Vermont, etc.

MAC schools used to get excited about beating out Missouri Valley and A-10 schools for players.  Now they are excited to win recruiting battles vs. the Big South, Patriot League, etc.  And excited to get transfers from Coastal Carolina, etc.

You mean as opposed to winning battles with guys from Baltimore and Beavercreek OH who had no solid offers when they signed with the Bobcats front court.  I believe the story was that Coach just said find the best available from what is left.
