Doesn't anybody understand that these commitments are not commitments until the LOI is signed? Most kids have no idea what the word "commitment" means. When they say they have "verbally committed" to a given school, they mean that that is their preference at the moment. When is the last time a kid who committed said at the same time, "I know there is nothing I can do to force other schools and coaches from contacting me, but I will from this point forward not answer any calls from coaches and delete all texts and emails before reading them."
By the way, OSU got burned today by a kid from Nevada who "committed" last week. Today he signed an LOI to BYU.
I think everybody who has posted in this thread realizes a verbal isn't firm.... That is exactly why everyone has posted here, to try to find out if Tariq is going to actually sign.
Been monitoring twitter, haven't seen anything about him signing. The guy who originally tweeted yesterday is a college hoops journalist for UNC and Maryland.
