Here's his VC page: http://verbalcommits.com/players/hunter-martin

There are some youtube videos on there. He looks a little raw right now, but at 6'9 with two years of High School left he could easily end up 6'11+.

It will be interesting to see if he changes schools for "better" competition.  The Rockets are not in a strong conference.  I despise when this occurs, but it seems to be what happens anymore.

A semi-local kid.  If he pans out, it would be nice to bring him in to Athens.  We shouldn't lose local kids to other schools at our level.

RS I am having trouble with my computer, might be time for me to upgrade.
What I was trying to say is Hunter has really turned it on lately. He still needs to be more vocal on the floor.

With Kretzer from Waverly now torching us at Akron, we need to make sure we take a close look at these "local" kids!  Going to go watch the French kid from Warren play against the Bulldogs tonight in sectional final which should be a great game.  Not sure who is recruiting French.  First team all Ohio, but might be seen by some D-1 programs as a "tweener".  Looking forward to see how he plays against Burrow and Ibi Washington tonight.  3 D-1 prospects on the floor at the same time.....don't see that too often south of Rte 22 !

Evan French of Warren has already signed with NCAA Division II West Liberty.  They are one of the top 10 Div. II programs in the country, which means they are comparable to a low major Div. I program.
