Ohio has offered a scholarship to 2014 SG prospect Jeremie Tyler from Indianapolis (IN) Arsenal Technical High School. The 6-2, 170-pounder also has offers from Ball St., IUPUI, Loyola-Chicago, Miami (OH), New Orleans, Vermont, WKU and WMU.

This kid is something. He is headed to LA for an elite camp this coming 2 weeks but he is quick on quick, hops out of the gym and D's up tenaciously

Sounds good to me Borna.... But two questions. 1) How does his outside shot look? 2) Can he play point? With Rio on-board he may not get too many minutes playing the SG position... Unless Rio can play a couple different spots himself...

We might want to start selling these scholarships on E-Bay or Craigs List, because our current staff cant "close the deal with recruits" or "sell recruits on the program".  Words of two Ohio AAU coaches, not mine, but very believable.  We have many opportunities for playing time for wing players, but can't close the deal.  I hope JC has some JUCO offers out or offers we don't know about in the pipeline with HS kids.

that is pretty harsh .

Not sure what you are hearing or who you are hearing from but it may be true that if they were happy with the way JG took care of them they may be less than pleased with the love they get currently.  Different approaches.

Those AAU coaches are apparently stupid.

Well, I guess time will tell about this staff's recruiting effectiveness, but...so far, this staff has been able to "close the deal" with some very good talent.

Way to "close the deal with recruits" coaches - well done!

Just reporting the words of TWO OHIO AAU coaches.  FYI: In a year of decent talent in OHIO, we got zero players from OHIO.  You don't need to get recruits from this state, but there are a few good years of basketball talent coming in this state.  let's not forget to recruit our backyard.  I wish the players in this years class coming to OHIO the best of luck.
