A month ago I looked and thought we were heavy on bigs and little on guards. Now all guards and no bigs.

I was referring to recruits coming in. I realize we still have players to fill the forward/center positions on the team.

I was just commenting that JC seemed focused on recruiting interior players and Saul seems more focused on guards.

We just need guards/wings more than biggs right now.  I'm still looking for one more good wing player!

IMO - this is a good thing.  Historically speaking, good guards seem to win games in March more than good bigs.

Was just about to type the same thing. Winning without at least one quality big is hard but guards are what makes the college basketball world go round.

Holy cow Harley is listed at 6-8. Maybe I'm blind but pegged him for 6-5 when seeing him in warm ups. Either way I can't count him as a big.

I am amazed at how often these height questions/doubting come up. Just look at the guys when they are standing right next to each other! Harley maybe an inch less than Setty, about 4 inches taller than Kellogg? Sure looks like it to me!

Because they are so erroneous. The athletes put them on their own form when they fill out their family, major etc for the Department to write up. It is not like the Department actually asks the training staff or strength coaches for the actual info. They just go by what the kid puts down. Loads the entire process with ambiguities.

I've seen Harley while working at Shively dining hall and I'm around 6'5"-6'6". I can assure you that he's at least a few inches taller than me. As is Campbell. And Mo. And Wadly. Not seen Treg in public yet.

I agree some are erroneous - but not 90%, or to the huge degree of error as impression you would get from reading BA.

Wadley is a true 7 footer. Stood next to him . I think he is a shade taller than Ethan.....and way longer arms. I don't put much stock in heights.....but length and how big they play is another story.

Yep. But I don't recall anyone EVER saying they thought a player was taller than listed. Hmm, maybe Gary Trent........
