The list doesn't look that bad when you consider most of our scholarships are not open to this point. I'd say the hit/miss ratio is pretty comparable to if you did the same exercise for the early commits.
I'd agree on the hit/miss ratio. My concern is the "hits" are more dramatic on the early guys in my opinion, and the volume of late guys we may need. I'm interested to see SP's strategy, which may be just a one time thing to stablize a roster (perhaps more JUCO's than he'd like). Here's the early signees that I could pin down:
2014-Crute, Morillo-Lajara, Owens, Wiggington
2013-Campbell, Mompremier, Ndour, Wingfield
2012-Levert
2011-Taylor, Mitchell, Goard
2010-Hall, Jacobs, Keely, Kellogg
2009-Cooper, Horne, Keely, Kinney
2008-Coleman
2007-Freeman, Nagtzaam, Pearson, Washington
2006-Sayles
2005-Chatman
2004- Fears, Williams
2003-Annen, Troutman, Davis, Clemons
2002- Guzman, Halbert, King, Kregers
2001- Shorter (I think, I couldn't find much...not sure if Frank Richards and/or Serge Babo were in this class).
