“So we have to try to look at wings if we can. But we have to have a point guard, no question about it. We’ve been recruiting point guards all year,” the coach said. “Whether that be a high school point guard or a transfer point guard for the following year, it’s debatable. They’re case-by-case situations. “We’re trying to satisfy needs with the best player we can get, who fits what we’re trying to do.”
The Wingfield news is a bummer for many reasons, from the recruiting standpoint I think we are still in great shape. We already have 3 wings signed (Crute, Morillo, Wigginton) so we don't have to rush into signing a 4th.
With the 4 guys we already have, this is a Top 100 class. The prospect of adding 2 more talented players is pretty exciting.
