I watched Xeryius Williams play on Saturday for Wayne in their win over Fairfield. My first impression was a more athletic version of current Bobcat Jon Smith, if there is such a thing. He's very long and has great court awareness on defense and gets up off the floor to contest shots very quickly.
Offensively, he really likes to shoot mid-range to three point jumpers, but he's actually more effective taking the ball to the rim. He kind of reminds me LeBron James when he drives to the hoop, he's just not as strong. He puts his head down and goes though. Also very effective in the fast break game. He gets up and down the floor very quickly. He also is very good at screening and moving within the offense without the ball. Countless times he set up teammates for easy looks, even though he didn't have the ball in his hands.
I would say he's like Devaughn Washington, but I think he's more skilled than Devaughn was coming out of high school on both ends of the floor. He didn't score much on Saturday (Wayne won 49-45), mostly because he's got two other D1 prospects, and maybe even a third, on his team which take a bulk of the shots.

I was particularly impressed with Ahmad Wagner (Bucknell, Miami, Robert Morris, Toledo and Wright State

Wayne's PG is also a potential MAC recruit in D'Mitrick Trice (Akron, Cleveland State, Miami, Toledo, Butler
