I figured I'd bump this thread to the front and, hopefully, the admins will pin it since he is part of this class.  In fact to me, as the only big man, in a big class (5 of 13 scholarships), he is the most important member of the class.  My gut tells me Saul likes what he sees in him, or he would have used one of the other scholarships to sign a big man.

I'm not sure he's in this class though, given he signed and RS last year.  I'm also sure what we'd call Khari.  He's 6'8" now reportedly, but is he a "big"?  I'm excited to see what all the new wing players including Khari bring to the court.  IMO, two of Taylor, Harley, Crute, and Laster must be able to make immediate contributions for OUr team to challenge for the top 4 slots in the MAC.

I guess it depends on what class you are referring to.  Academically, he will be part of the sophomore class next year.  Eligibility wise, he will be part of the freshman class next year.  Either way, he belongs to last year's recruiting class.

I agree.  This is what makes me excited for this coming season, I actually enjoy the unknown.  I like not knowing what to expect and seeing how things come together under a new coaching staff.  Who is going to step up?  Who is going to make an impact that wasn't expected?  Seeing how some of the new pieces from last year started contributing late in the year (Setty, Mo all year, Bean, Tony C) gives me some optimism that this coming season shouldn't be too much of a drop off.

As I was leaving work last night past the Convo I saw Tony Campbell and someone very tall walking along Shafer trying to cross Richland.  When he turned and I saw it was Khari I was a little surprised.  He appeared to have a solid inch on Tony.  Obviously not as much mass, but definitely taller than Campbell. 

It also looked like Tony had dropped a few pounds.
