You can see the real impact of multiple coaching changes when you look at the list of players graduating in the next few years that played all 4 years in Athens.

2015- 1 (S. Taylor)
2016- 0
2017- 2 (T. Campbell, W. Mompremier)

just 3 four-year recruits in 3 years has its consequences.
In context:

2014 - 3(Kellogg, Johnson, Hall)
2013 - 4(Cooper, Keely, Baltic, McKinley)
2012 - 0(no seniors)
2011 - 3(Freeman, Washington, Sayles)

If we're counting McKinley for 2013 then we should count Crabtree for 2017.

When everybody has fairly equal talent, as in every MAC school has relatively speaking the same level of recruits, then the difference usually becomes experience.

good info. to add to that- the 3 recruits who would have been seniors in 2012 were incoming freshmen the summer TOS left for Bryant. To extrapolate out the impact of having 4 different head coaches over 8 seasons- over the 6 year period from 2012-2017 Ohio will have no more than 9 scholarship players spend all 4 years at Ohio.
