Agreed - UNCW, VCU, Old Dominion are all really good basketball schools close to home.

Do not underestimate the effect of a visit to Athens. There have been many recruits over the years who were headed elsewhere--until they landed on campus, stood inside the Convo. Also, don't sleep on Saul Phillips' ability to sell the university, the program and himself.

Both good points. I surely wouldn't discredit Saul, OUr Alma Mater, or the fact that we have a nice basketball program that's definitely trending upward.
