I give in. After thinking it through, and reading several posts, I’m in the bandwagon. We need BIGs. The ones we have, and the ones incoming won’t cut it at all. That said, I’ve identified guys who aren’t committed yet for Ohio to go get. Home run type guys because no one is too good for Ohio, and without a couple of these guys, Ohio has no chance of a winning record next year. Here’s the list we should be going after:

If we can’t get one of these guys, we should really consider seeing if we can outbid Duquesne for Dambrot, and get Groce to be his top assistant.

I like it. After we get these guys we make a run at Melo Trimble as a grad transfer.

What did you think of the guys I outlined?

And Van is right - Melo Trimble would be a perfect fit on the wing.

I could see us telling Bamba that he can only block shots, all we want is defense and kickouts, if you think I am am going to utilize your athleticism, you have the wrong coach. Michael Porter Jr. wouldn't mind sitting behind Block for two years, we were a finalist for him, but he followed his dad to Missouri.

Finally, Walter Luckett went to Kentucky and Gary Trent went to Xavier because they were too good for Ohio. Maurice Ndour went to Seton Hall and Saint Johns because he would rather be depth than get meaningful experience playing for Ohio. We should just shoot for the Rudy's of the world, the rural Ohio and Indiana guys, we could draw morals from them taking a charge in aau game against Gary Trent Jr. We can get johnny moderazo, His highlight tape is sensational. https://www.ispot.tv/ad/AUIb/subway-italian-hero-the-lege...
Can I get a mediocre round of applause? It's not April Fool's Day because we fool ourselves everyday, it is a mediocre party. We are all that we have. All for one, one for all.

Man, you took all the fun out of it with your babbling on about this. Again.

Don't worry OU_Country.....2017-2018 is the year of EDoz. According to many here, he looks great in warm-ups.

Maybe i missed it. When did someone say that Dozier was a star? I remember people asking to see him play meaningful minutes when we were struggling right after TC went down, but that was more to get a look at what we had.

It was a joke, I believe. Dozier may be ready to contribute next year, I don't know about stardom.

I just can't believe all of the people on here clamoring for EDoz this year when he's not even close to being ready. Obviously, the coaches never thought he could contribute when Tone went down. Maybe it changes in 2017-2018....who knows. It's up to EDoz to put the work in and improve.

Several, including you, may not have realized this was an attempt to make an April fools joke. Look at the list of proposed recruits.
