I was at the Pick Central vs. Newark game last night. With all due respect to Juan Elmore (OU interest), I think there were a few kids on both sides of the court that should garner OUr attention. Elmore was in foul trouble early, moved a little slow compared to the pace of the game. Pick's PG Francis (soph) is the real deal. Pick's 7'0 post Manley who is headed to UNC, was just OK, he was present but not dominant. The Carter kid from Newark is a shut down defender and I believe he can play at the MAC level defensively. The hands down star of the game was BJ Duling from Newark. We will See a lot of him in the coming years as he is a soon to be Kent Golden Flash. Duling gave Manley all he could handle, and his jumping/dunking ability is above board for a high school kid, really wish he was coming OUr way. Maybe the door is not shut, Assistant OU Aaron Fuss was in attendance front and center.

We've offered Francis, not sure how much of a shot we have, but Fuss being there is not a surprise with the way we've recruited central Ohio lately. If were able to pull a rabbit out of a hat and get Francis that would be amazing. But I'm sure they've got their eyes open on other guys.

Probably looking at Newark 6-7 soph Keyshawn Heard as well. I doubt if Justin Carter, a 6-2 senior, is being looked at.
