This latest offer to a PG in 2017 makes me think Saul doesn't go that way with the remaining two in 2016. If that's the case, I hope Dartis and Gollon are working hard in the gym this summer so they can spell Jaaron a couple minutes.

I hope so as well.

The Optimist suggested that Graves may be the biggest target of the 2017 class. I'm not sure that he and Hollowell aren't 1A and 1B. Anyone know anything about their respective games to compare the two?

Well, Hollowell has the offers from the bigger schools right now. I've read some things that say bigger schools are interested in Graves but nobody has pulled the trigger yet. Not that you should base a comparison off of just that, but it's a starting point.

I can't find any highlights for Hollowell from Googling. Graves has some nice hops for a PG.

Offer list keeps growing:

ETSU
St. Louis
Eastern Kentucky
Ohio
Oklahoma State

A handful of other big schools have shown interest.

With scholarships opening, I'm wondering about Mr. Hollowell? I know we offered around a year ago. He's still uncommitted.

Better part is that OK State went through a coaching transition, this one might have wheels to it if the offer is still on the table.

Talked to some of my sources, OU is definitely out shopping for a point guard right now. I know it goes against the grains of what our thinking was (big boys galore), but to start grooming the next PG is going to be critical next year.

The question is, was Butler considered to be that PG, or was considered a combo guard? He's said to have the skills to be a PG.

I like that we're shopping for a PG. I'm of the opinion that a team can't have enough good guards. It's proven again and again that success in March usually comes as a result of top shelf guard play.

(don't misconstrue this to mean I don't think good big guys aren't needed though)

A kid with an offer from Oklahoma State verbally commiting to Wofford is a surprise.

Just saw the Wofford campus last week. It is very beautiful and they are putting lots of money into athletic facilities.

Yes, the Spartanburg area is quite nice. There are about four or five colleges in that relatively small town. Another of the schools is Converse College. My cousin teaches music there.
